We believe there is an Innovator in every AMPian. Kaizen, Six Sigma and Blue Sky thinking are a way of life @ AMP. About 200+ Kaizen ideas were received and implemented; a couple of Six Sigma Projects are ongoing and is making a good progress too.

Innovation touches every nook and corner of our work life. A hanging bell (similar to a temple bell) greets every AMPian who takes the staircase, where as a weighing scale is strategically placed outside the lift to encourage employees to walk the stairs in order to stay fit.

Last December, the company announced its new benefit plan thro’ Santa Clause, who moved across the office premises and announced the benefit plan as a Christmas Gift to AMPians.

Every AMPians spends 5% of their time towards ideas and innovation coz All Ideas Matter. Moreover, all the above are examples of how they contribute.

2. LEARNING!
Our English Club volunteers conduct various activities in the working bay to enhance spoken English skills. Our experience is people improve their English in an effective way when it is thro’ debates, word games, storytelling, news reading in a fun way and there by involve them in all the activities.

We do have the class room training for Domain and Functional skills and are usually followed by some interesting activities to ensure learning respectively.

We also experiment with our training methodology. As an outcome of which, we are conducting a month long Foot ball tournament parallel to FIFA to encourage team bonding and coordination. It has become an instant hit on the premises and taught the employees some of the best lessons on Team work! Now, that’s learning the AMP Way!

3. FUN!
With an average age of 26 and most employees being part of the Gen Y, we encourage regular fun@work. A team of volunteers, who have added interest to drive these with passion, conduct regular events, competitions for employees to showcase their talents and pursue their inner most dreams.

Cultural and sports events are also a regular part of every AMPians work life. In addition to that every work bay has some stress buster games like Dart Boards, Puzzles, Rubik Cubes etc, to provide a fun filled environment. In our experience it is the presence of these games that creates a comfort zone for all employees and brings out the best in them.

There are no hard and fast rules around dress code as long as the employee looks presentable at work.
