The St. Augustine Amphitheatre Ranks #1 in the US and #2 in the World

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre has once again placed St. Augustine on the global live music map, ranking #1 in the United States and #2 in the world for both Tickets Sold and Worldwide Gross Sales in Pollstar Magazine’s 2026 Mid-Year Top 50 Amphitheaters Report.

The recognition marks a year-over-year climb for the venue, which ranked #2 in the United States and #3 worldwide in Pollstar’s 2025 Mid-Year Report. The achievement places The St. Augustine Amphitheatre among the most successful amphitheaters in the world and underscores the venue’s continued growth as a premier destination for artists, fans, and the live entertainment industry.

Pollstar, the concert industry’s leading trade publication, compiles its rankings based on tickets sold and gross sales earned between November 2025 and May 2026. During the reporting period, The St. Augustine Amphitheatre sold more than 100,000 tickets and hosted 30 concerts, welcoming world-renowned artists Rod Stewart, Santana, and Styx alongside next-generation artists such as Treaty Oak Revival, Mt. Joy, Ethel Cain, and more. Multi-night runs from Jon Pardi, Parker McCollum, Widespread Panic, and Goose were additional highlights of the season.

“The St. Augustine Amphitheatre has grown into a venue that proves you do not have to be in a major market to make a major impact,” said Gabe Pellicer, CEO & President of SJC Cultural Events, Inc., the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates The St. Augustine Amphitheatre. “This recognition reflects the strength of St. Augustine as a live music destination and the power of pairing world-class programming with a venue experience that is authentic, intimate, and truly unique.”

For Chief Programming Officer and Vice President Cari Baker, the ranking reflects the depth and range of artists choosing to play The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, as well as the strength of the audiences who continue to support them.

“What makes this recognition especially meaningful is the variety of artists and experiences represented in it,” said Cari Baker, Chief Programming Officer and Vice President of SJC Cultural Events, Inc. “From iconic performers to emerging talent, multi-night residencies to first-time headliners, every show contributes to the story. We're grateful that artists continue to choose The St. Augustine Amphitheatre and that audiences continue to support live music in such a meaningful way.”

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre shows no signs of slowing down, with another 33 concerts currently scheduled for the second half of 2026. Upcoming performances include country music stars Vince Gill, Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, and Alabama, along with musical titans John Fogerty & Steve Winwood, James Taylor, and Buddy Guy. The Avett Brothers, Modest Mouse, O.A.R., and Tedeschi Trucks Band are set to return to the venue, while CAKE, Flipturn, and Turnpike Troubadours will make their headlining debuts this year.

Operated by SJC Cultural Events, Inc., The St. Augustine Amphitheatre continues to distinguish itself through its intimate capacity, one-of-a-kind natural setting within Anastasia State Park, and its role in bringing world-class live music to one of the nation’s most historic coastal destinations.
